Atmeshwar Tali is a crystal clear water source, available for all 365 days of year. It is over flowing from 10 feet, above soil level & the level has no connection with near by other water sources like wells. There is a ancient temple called as Atmeshwar Temple of Lord Shiva.

It is said that stabbing trishul on the ground Lord Shiva's Bhakta has created this fountain It is an unique watertank where water flows above ground level. It gets filled up to the brim and overflows. It enhances the beauty of Atmeshwar Mandir area which is built up in 1891. This is also a unique example where two shiv-lings are placed in one temple. It is a grace of god to Sawantwadi and its citizens.

An Amazing Well where water Over flowws about 4 Ft. above Ground Level almost 365 days of the year. Town called Sawantwadi owes various attributes. Atmeshwar Tali is very unique place in itself. About 350 years ago, Shri. Damodar Swami created a pool which is now known as Atmeshwar Tali. Most of the places have their own folklores or legnds. Story regarding this place is told like this. The erudite Swamiji threw his Trishul while enchanting mantra of "Jay Mate Bhagirathi (Ganga)". On the very place a big stream of water appeared and it's flowing perpetually from that day.With the passage of time, this place too is affected by hasty and unmindful modernization.
